International Baccalaureate Organization (IB)

The Council of International Schools (CIS)
The Council of International Schools (CIS) can be taken as a basis in regard to naming. The CIS, which is not for profit, is the largest association of international schools affiliated with primary and secondary education. The aim of the association is to give students the ability to become world citizens with an intercultural understanding.
The CIS encourages research, discussion, and personal action of local and world issues, as well as respect for diversity among societies.
The CIS is an accreditation that promotes the learning of other languages and advocates for sustainable lifestyles. Today, they have 733 schools around the world and provide an easier transfer for students of global exchange programs.
A total of 27 of these schools are located in Turkey, 15 in Istanbul, 1 in Ankara, 5 in Izmir, and 3 in Adana.

British International School (BISI): Offers kindergarten, primary, and secondary school programs with English as its mother tongue. Programs include a modified English National Curriculum, IGCSE, and the International Baccalaureate Program.
Istanbul International School: Preschool, primary, and secondary school programs are offered. It has been accredited as a Cambridge International School and is a member of the Council of International Schools.
Uskudar American High School: It has an American-centered curriculum with English as the primary education language. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious schools in Turkey.
Lycée Français Pierre Loti: It has an independent curriculum with French as the language of instruction. The program offers a French Baccalaureate Diploma.
Österreichisches Sankt Georgs-Kolleg (St. George's Austrian High School / Karakoy St. George's): Founded by European or American diplomatic missions in Turkey dating back to the 19th century. The main language of instruction is German.
Bilkent Laboratory and International School (BLIS): Children aged 4-19 are admitted to special day schools. He has an IB Diploma program.
British Embassy School Ankara (BESA): Established by the British Embassy in Ankara, it accepts mostly British citizens aged 3-11. It offers the National Curriculum of English with native English.
George C. Marshall School: It is located in the Turkish military base in Balgat, formerly the property of the US Army. US citizens and Embassy staff have priority for enrollment. It accepts children between the ages of 5-18. It follows the American education system with English as the main language of instruction.
Private Tevfik Fikret Schools: A French school that accepts students between the ages of 6-18. The main language of instruction is French.
TED Ankara College: TED is a foundation that has schools in many provinces of the country. It is one of the oldest and most prestigious schools in the country. It accepts students between the ages of 6-18 with an exam and the main language of instruction is English.
International Community College Antalya (ICCA): It offers pre-school, primary, and secondary school programs with English as a native language, supported by Turkish. Accepts students aged 3-14.
TED College Antalya: It offers kindergarten, primary school, and high school programs in Turkish, English, and German as the language of instruction. He is a member of international organizations such as IBO, CIS, ECIS, and Eco-Schools.
Antalya İSTEK Schools: It provides education in Turkish, English, and German. Most of the English teachers are local.
MEF International Schools Izmir: The school offers English in primary and secondary education as native English. It prepares students for the Cambridge University International Exams.
American Collegiate Institute (ACI): The first Turkish school accredited by ECIS and CIS. Offers IB Diploma Program.
Scuola Primaria E dell'infanzia Italiana di Smirne: The Italian Kindergarten and Primary School, which is about 120 years old, offers students four languages, English and French, as well as native language education in Turkish and Italian. In kindergarten, students from different countries between the ages of 3-6 receive education in accordance with the Turkish National Education curriculum, while in primary school, education is given in accordance with the Italian curriculum.
TED Bursa College: TED College has been providing education in the city since 2006 and has International Undergraduate Accreditation. TED College, whose education language is Turkish, English, and German, provides kindergarten, primary school, and high school education services. Private Emine Örnek Schools: Private Emine Örnek Schools, which provide primary and secondary school services, were established in 1998 in Bademli. The school offers more than one foreign language education.
